Mission

    SHPE-Silicon Valley strives to promote the development of Latinos in engineering, science and other technical professions to achieve educational excellence, economic opportunity and social equity.

Goals
  • Increase the number of Latino students pursing engineering and science
  • Provide counseling and financial assistance to Latino students pursuing engineering and science
  • Improve educational and employment opportunities for Latinos in engineering and science
  • Ensure that schools of high Latino population have access to technology
  • Promote the professional advancement and development of Latinos
  • Promote the professional advancement of Latina women in engineering and science
