We highly recommend registering for the "TechLeaders: Realizing Your Vision for Women of Color" presented by The Anita Borg Institute. Its a two-day workshop, hosted by Google, designed for entry to mid-level technical women of color to provide skills to advance their careers and build networks with other women of color.

SFBA SHPE Day at the Exploratorium
All SHPE-SV members are invited and encouraged to volunteer and attend this excellent all-day free family event at the Exploratorium, the museum of science, art, and human perception, with SFBA SHPE in San Francisco, CA on Sunday, September 28th. For more details, click here.

Interested in having your company host a SHPE-SV member meeting?

The host provides a meeting room for about 25 members from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM. Host also provides refreshments. Your company has the opportunity to do a corporate presentation to our membership, from 7 to 7:30 PM.

SHPE Meeting on Wednesday August 20th @ 7pm to form a new Entrepreneur/Small Business committee and plan workshops for the year. Join us at Beshoff Motorcars, 3000 East Capitol Expressway in San Jose, in the second floor conference room. Refreshments and appetizers will be provided.

Tellme Networking Event with SHPE and SWE on Thursday, August 21st at 6:30pm to 8:30pm. This will be a great event where you can listen to founder, Mike McCue, speak about Tellme and what his company is doing. You will also have the chance to network with Mike and his employees along with SHPE and SWE members. Join us at Tellme Headquarters on 1310 Villa Street in Mountain View. Refreshments and appetizers will be provided.
Diana Gomez, SHPE National President, will be in attendance. Let's show our support and have as many SHPE members in attendance.
